Dear Friends and Community Members

The Western Placer Unified School District is facing significant challenges in the coming years. With rapid enrollment growth we are not ready for, and limited financial resources, we need board trustees who can thoroughly evaluate problems and make strong, rational decisions within the many constraints that exist.

As a Human Resources consultant for over 25 years, I work with these kinds of constraints daily. Having grown up as the daughter of two educators, I have a passion for ensuring that teachers can provide each student with the education they need and deserve.

Having sent two kids through school in Lincoln, (Class of ‘23 and ‘27), I’ve seen the strengths of the district, and the challenges it’s facing. As a trustee, I will focus on building and protecting a quality education for every student in the district, delivered by respected and fairly compensated teachers and staff; who will be backed by a school board that is focused on sound decision-making, accountability, and transparency. A board that puts education before pet projects or grievances.

A strong district needs a strong board.
